Position : Sr. Tax Transformation Consultant

Job   Description :

We are seeking a  Senior Tax Transformation Consultant/Analyst with a blend of  tax technical, tax technology, data validation, testing, and project implementation experience to support multiple strategic tax transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience working across  tax provision, legal entity restructuring, ownership management, state tax compliance, and enterprise tax technology platforms .

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate tax, tax technology, tax provision, or tax transformation experience.
• Strong understanding of  ASC 740 tax provisions , deferred taxes, and corporate tax compliance processes.
• Experience with Oracle TRC. FCC, EDM, Hyperion, or similar tax and financial reporting platforms.
• Ability to validate system-generated tax calculations against manual workpapers and identify variances.
• Experience supporting  system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and process automation initiatives .
• Knowledge of  legal entity structures, ownership hierarchies, corporate reorganizations, mergers, conversions, and governance processes .
• Familiarity with  state tax registrations, Secretary of State filings, tax clearances, nexus reviews, and multi-state compliance requirements .
• Strong Excel, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Tax, Legal, Finance, Technology teams, and external advisors (e.g., PwC, Grant Thornton).
• Experience in large-scale transformation, ERP, reporting, or tax technology implementation projects preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

• Validate ownership management and legal entity data within tax and finance systems.
• Perform testing and reconciliation between manual tax processes and TRC automated calculations.
• Support implementation and validation of tax provision automation.
• Research and coordinate state registration, dissolution, and entity conversion requirements.
• Document requirements, test results, controls, and process improvements.
• Assist with project execution, issue resolution, and business readiness activities related to ongoing tax transformation initiatives.
