You'll be instrumental in supporting adult learners on their journey, working with life coaches and educators to provide academic and personal counseling. Your efforts will help students earn industry-recognized certificates and dual credit college courses, paving the way for their success. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure compliance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with teachers and life coaches to provide comprehensive support for adult learners, fostering an inclusive educational environment.
• Coordinate with educational staff to deliver tailored academic and personal counseling, enhancing student success and growth.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Special Education services, making data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Facilitate professional development sessions for educators, promoting best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
• Engage with community partners to expand resources and opportunities for students, strengthening our support network.
• Oversee the documentation and reporting processes to maintain transparency and accountability in program operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with a focus on compliance and quality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, life coaches, and educational staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Proven track record of coordinating academic and personal counseling services to enhance student success and growth.
• Strong skills in monitoring and evaluating Special Education services, using data-driven approaches to improve outcomes.

About Company

Goodwill Excel Center – Northern Indiana is a high-quality, free, public high school for adult learners 18 and older. We provide coursework toward completing the required credits for students to earn an Indiana Core 40 diploma (not a TASC/GED/HSE program). Our students benefit from a structured learning environment with direct/face-to-face instruction, an accelerated format, small classes, and individualized attention that meets the unique needs of adult learners. All students are assigned a life coach who provides academic and personal counseling to support students pursuing their goals. Our staff has a significant impact on the lives of students seeking a second chance to change their lives. Goodwill Excel also requires students to earn industry-recognized certificates and/or dual credit college courses. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative team to assist in this endeavor.
