Production Assembler – 1st ShiftElucent Medical is a medical device company focused on developing surgical navigation technologies, particularly for cancer surgery, to improve patient outcomes through precision and efficacy. The company's solutions are designed to transform traditional surgical instruments into "smart" tools, enhancing surgical precision and patient outcomes.Job Summary: The Production Assembler will assist in building the Elucent Envisio system, which consists of an electromechanical chassis, computer, display, and an electrical patient pad. This will require understanding assembly drawings and manufacturing procedures. This role may require using equipment such as electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter), vision systems and standard mechanical tools for assembly.Job Responsibilities:Assist in kitting, cycle counting and general materials processes as applicableAssemble Envisio system sub-assemblies using standard mechanical assembly processesPerform mapping and system assessments/tests to ensure functionality of Envisio systemsPerform depot and repair processes for the Envisio system.Transfer released materials to inventoryAdhere to work instructions and document corresponding work doneExhibit good documentation practicesBuild test articles and fixtures for prototyping and pilot needsMaintain compliance with ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection proceduresQualifications Education and Experience: High School Diploma, GED required, or equivalent work experience 2+ years assembly experience required 1+ years medical device assembly preferred Required Skills/Abilities: Intermediate computer proficiency required. Startup, small business experience preferred. Willingness to learn. Detail-oriented.
