We are looking for an energetic and organized individual to assist in maintaining overall laundry department operations and light cleaning around the hotel. Your role as a Laundry Attendant is important because you make sure all of our linens are clean and crisp. If you have a "Passion for Perfection" and a "Passion for Service", this job is for you! Our Laundry Attendants make sure each guest has an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Pre-sorting linens, pre-treat stained linen as needed, wash, dry, fold all linens
Loading, unloading and operating commercial washer and dryers
Folding and stacking towels, sheets and other linens
inspect linen for damages and remove from circulation if standards cannot be met
Report equipment problem to management
Transport laundry carts and linen to storage areas and to housekeepers on the floors
Adhere to all Marriott / Musselman standards
Follow all laundry chemical and supplies procedures for the washing machines
Perform other job duties as assigned
Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile each and every day.
Fundamental Requirements
Prior experience as a Laundry Attendant is preferred but not required. To be successful, you will need basic English communication skills. This job requires standing and walking 100% of the time, regularly bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and the ability to perform repetitive motions for the entire shift. This job requires you to be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50lbs.
